Gary Bell, a proud native of North Carolina and Joliet, Illinois, earned All-American honors during his standout high school basketball career. Recognized as one of the top talents in the nation, Gary’s exceptional skills and leadership on the court drew attention from elite college programs. He went on to play at University of Notre Dame, where he was a key contributor, averaging double-digit points and showcasing his versatility, defensive prowess, and clutch scoring ability during his collegiate tenure.
A four-year starter and two-time All-Stater. Bell was the #1 prospect for three years and finished runner-up to Kevin Garnett for Mr.Basketball. He averaged 24.7 and 10.7 rebounds as a junior, while leading Joliet to 30 consecutive victories. Bell was selected USA Today and Parade All-American as a senior averaging 26 points and 12 rebounds, Joliet finished 4th place in 1995. Bell has a career record of 104-17 along with 2,635 points and 1,198 rebounds.
