Early Prospects Projections NBA Draft 2025 #1 thru #3

1. Dallas Mavericks: Cooper Flagg, F, Duke
Flagg is the consensus No. 1 pick, and for good reason. His two-way versatility, 6'8" frame with a 7'0" wingspan, and relentless motor make him a franchise cornerstone. Offensively, he’s a transition beast (1.302 PPP) and a solid spot-up shooter, while his defensive anticipation (0.956 PPP) is generational. Dallas gets a star to build around for the post-Luka era while boosting their current roster with Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis.

2. San Antonio Spurs: Dylan Harper, G, Rutgers
Harper, a big-bodied lefty combo guard, is the clear No. 2 prospect. With NBA blood as Ron Harper’s son, he brings size, playmaking, and poise. His fit with Victor Wembanyama is electric—Harper can run the offense while Wemby dominates inside. The Spurs might explore trades due to backcourt depth with De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle, but Harper’s the best asset here.

3. Philadelphia 76ers: Ace Bailey, F, Rutgers
The Sixers jump to No. 3 and snag Bailey, an electric scoring wing. His shot-making, size, and defensive versatility add firepower to an aging core. Bailey’s scoring upside is massive, and he’ll inject athleticism alongside Joel Embiid, assuming Embiid’s health holds up. This pick gives Philly a much-needed offensive spark.
